About Me

Hey! My name is Marielle.

I should probably start by telling you that I have graduated with a bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida and I just finished my Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. Now I am busy trying to send people back to the Moon.

My passion lies beyond engineering; I am a huge Astronomy and Astrophysics nerd. I have too many Space related coffee table books and I subscribe to a ridiculous amount of Aerospace feeds. I am sure this doesn’t surprise you because many people not even involved in the industry have a love for Space.
The greatest misconception I hear about Space is that you need a high-powered telescope to be able to experience it. It’s true you won’t be able to see the rings on Saturn or every crater on the moon with the naked eye but there is so much else going on in the night sky and I am here to point it out to you!

This blog will also be dedicated to developing a deeper understanding of exactly what you are seeing. I am here to provide answers to your most burning questions, so don’t hesitate to ask.

    Hi Marielle!
Pretty cool blog you got here! I love the name. I can say I’m into space but I’m not as smart as you (aka dropped out of college). I’d love to learn more through your blog.
    Cheers,
    Mani

Awww thanks this means so much! I aim to keep the tone of the content casual so it won’t feel educational but you will still learn cool stuff!

I have several burning questions. Most are simple stupid. Quite by a fluke, I’ve acquired quite the NASA space collection . I wanted to see if you could help me identify some of these possible Significant finds.
