Meteor Shower Time: The Geminids!

Probably one of the best meteor showers of the year is coming next week so be sure to mark your calendar. Although it doesn’t have the name recognition of the Perseids, the Geminids is just as prolific. It is probably because of the fact that they are smack dab in the middle of winter but if you are willing to brave the cold or are in a warmer climate this shower is a must! I actually even encourage people to try to see them from your own home as many of the meteors can outshine suburban neighborhoods. You of course will have to see them when the constellation is either rising or setting (unless you have a skylight and can see it overhead!).
